This is especially true concerning syphilis which the Pennsylvania Department of Health has recently reported significant numbers of new infections among gay and bisexual men in the region.

Alder Health Services currently offers a weekly STD Screening and Treatment Program at the Agency’s Harrisburg Health Center(100 N. Cameron St., Ste. 301-East). Every Wednesday from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. No appointment necessary.

This is especially true in South Central Pennsylvania with the Pennsylvania Department of Health reporting significant numbers of new infections of syphilis among gay and bisexual men in the region.

Alder Health Services offers free confidential/anonymous HIV testing. The program focuses primarily upon individuals at high-risk for HIV infection. We also offer Alder weekly FREE walk-in STD Screening and Treatment and FREE confidential HIV Testing at our Harrisburg location located at 100 N. Cameron Street, Suite 301 East.

Alder Health Services also provides basic HIV education to the South Central Pennsylvania community by offering presentations and programming for local schools, churches and community groups.  Although anyone in the community can access all of Alder’s services, the majority of the Agency’s prevention resources are dedicated to intensive programs and services for populations identified as at greatest risk for infection in our community such as Men Who Have Sex with Men (MSM) and Injection Drug Users (IDU).
